Rambutan Resort, Townsville

My stay at this hotel did not meet my expectations. I was really looking forward to a relaxing weekend, but the noise from kids using the pool early in the morning made it hard to enjoy. Although the price of $80 a night is appealing, the issues with my room, like the air conditioning and a worn-out mattress, made it difficult to feel comfortable. On a positive note, the wood-fired pizza I had was quite good, and the location had its perks.

I had a mixed experience here. While the hotel's location near the ferry terminal was ideal and the staff was accommodating, the room conditions and noise disturbances left much to be desired. The amenities, while promising, didn't quite live up to expectations, especially concerning poolside tranquility and dining efficiency.

Still, I can't wait to return because this place felt like a little oasis during my travels.
